We had the opportunity to share Pressley Vineyards wine at a Wine & Dine workshop hosted by Kelly and Candace Mantel of Pour People and Rose Miano of Cucina Pazza! Hosted at Gather in Modesto, Kelly and Candace team up with Rose monthly to bring food and wine together allowing guests to engage with the cooking process while sipping on paired wines and learning a bit about winemaking, tasting and enjoying!
Pressley Vineyards was able to take part in March’s Wine and Dine workshop making a Lemon Shrimp Pasta! As guests entered Gather they were welcomed with a charcuterie board and opportunity to take photos at the photo booth. Next, they were seated around a large U shaped table to have prime access to watching the cooking demonstration and hear about the wines. While Rose discussed how to make homemade pasta guests enjoyed Pressley Vineyards Rose. Once the demonstration was over Kelly shared how to properly taste wine, and then guests got to get hands-on in the kitchen to make their very own fettucine noodles! Once the noodles were made guests returned to their seats to enjoy a beautiful green salad and fresh bread, complimented with Pressley Vineyards Albarino, while learning more about the Pressley brand and then Rose demonstrated how to cook the Lemon Shrimp. Lastly, guests got to enjoy the meal they helped create and enjoy Pressley Vineyards Pinot Noir followed by Pressley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. All the while getting to engage with the other diners, learn more about food and wine pairings and Pressley Vineyards wines and what makes our brand unique.
Kelly and Candance created Pour People to spread the word about how fun and approachable wine can be, and introduce people to the incredible wines created in the Central Valley. They host a different workshop monthly and feature a different winery every month. We were honored to be apart of their evening and highly recommend the experience. You can learn more about Pour people or sign up for one of their workshops here!
