October 21, 2025

There’s something special about the cozy flavors of fall —especially when paired with a glass of Pressley Pinot Noir. This season, we’re bringing a classic to your table: homemade pumpkin pie, perfectly complemented by the bright, silky notes of our Pinot Noir.

Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Warm, aromatic, and full of fall flavor, this pie is sure to impress guests and pair beautifully with your favorite Pressley wine.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie crust, homemade or store-bought, unbaked

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree (or fresh pumpkin puree)

  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and cloves.

  3. Add eggs and whisk until smooth.

  4. Stir in pumpkin puree and gradually add evaporated milk, mixing until fully combined.

  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 40–50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours. Serve at room temperature or chilled — and of course, with a glass of Pressley Pinot Noir.

Why It Works

Our Pinot Noir’s soft red fruit notes and hints of spice complement the warm, earthy flavors of pumpkin and cinnamon. Together, they create a perfect harmony of richness and brightness — the essence of fall in every bite and sip.

So whether you’re hosting friends or enjoying a quiet evening at home, this Pumpkin Pie & Pinot pairing is a sweet reminder to slow down and savor the season.

🍷 Cheers to fall, friends, and Pressley Wine
